The word hieroglyph comes from the Greek adjective ἱερογλυφικά (hieroglyphiká), a compound of ἱερός (hierós 'sacred') and γλύφω (glýphō 'Ι carve, engrave'; see glyph). The glyphs themselves were called τὰ ἱερογλυφικὰ γράμματα (tà hieroglyphikà grámmata, 'the sacred engraved letters'). The word hieroglyph has become a noun in English, standing for an individual hieroglyphic character. As used in the previous sentence, the word "hieroglyphic" is an adjective and is often used erroneously in place of "hieroglyph".   from Wiki:  Heiroglyphs

Did you know that even today, with all our technology, engineers and builders claim that they could not build the great pyramid as precisely aligned and geometrical as the original?

Scientists have claimed that the Great Pyramid was built by about 100,000 men over a period of about 20 years.  Were that true then this crew would have had to move millions of blocks weighing about 2.5 tons each (5,000lbs) and thousands of blocks weighing around 15 tons or 30,000 lbs each.  With an estimated total of about 2,300,000 blocks and assuming a ten hour work day for 365 days a year these crews would have had to cut, haul, and place 31 blocks per hour and if they stopped for the summer due to the intense heat, that would increase to about 240 blocks per hour .

I don't know about you but I have watched construction crews.  I have had work done to my house.  Even with today's advanced tools and machinery it takes forever to build a small house. In the  least this theory raises some questions.
